Something strange and mind-bending must have happened in the 70s. In the design world geometric patterns appeared in such abundance that it was as though people had only just discovered the ruler. Then they added colour, in combinations that not only defied convention but also any kind of aesthetic decency and sense. Reproduced as shirts, wallpaper, curtains, cushions, and couches, the overall effect must have been truly brain-frazzling. Tretro is our (tasteful) homage to that mad, bad, bygone era.
